Boheme Opera’s Gala

Ominous weather forecasts notwithstanding, supporters of Boheme Opera NJ turned out in force for a gala fundraiser that kicked off the company’s 24th season.

After strolling by the cannon marking the entry to Princeton University’s Cannon Dial Elm eating club, gala celebrants were treated to music by Danny Rich and Courtney Colletti and — as an after-dinner treat — an opera rendition with tenor Daniel Snyder, who will star as Faust in Boheme Opera’s 2013 production. Accompanying him on piano: Sandra Pucciatti, Boheme’s co-founder.

Guests left the party well before the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, but many of them were already looking ahead to Boheme’s debut of a collaboration with Grounds for Sculpture, which will host a holiday concert on Friday, December 14.
