Art and Soul for the Holidays

Trenton Community A-TEAM is holding a series of holiday sales of artworks made by its members.

Founded in 2001 by five artists meeting at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, the nonprofit now includes more than 50 self-taught artists living below the poverty line. Group members exhibit and sell artwork at galleries, museums, and other public venues throughout the year to fund their supplies and staffing needs.

Holiday location and dates are as follows:

TCAT Studio, 51 North Stockton Street Trenton. Fridays and Saturdays from December 7 through 22, noon to 4 p.m. (until 6 p.m. on the first two Fridays). Ample parking in rear of building.

Starbucks, 102 South Warren Street, Trenton, Tuesdays, December 11 and 18, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Classics Book Store, 4 West Lafayette Street, Trenton, Saturday, December 15, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
