Breeze Airways is adding Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing to its network, with four new routes that will begin operating over the next several months.

The airline announced in June that it will offer nonstop service from Trenton-Mercer Airport to Charleston, South Carolina; Fort Myers, Florida; and Vero Beach, Florida, as well as one-stop, no-change-of-plane service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fares on some of the new routes will start at $59 one way.

Service to Charleston will begin Sept. 20, with flights operating Thursdays and Sundays. Promotional fares will start at $59 one way.

The Fort Lauderdale route also will begin Sept. 20 and operate Thursdays and Sundays using BreezeThru service, which allows passengers to remain on the same plane during the stop.

Flights to Vero Beach will begin Sept. 30 and initially operate Wednesdays and Saturdays. Beginning Jan. 7, the schedule will switch to Thursdays and Sundays. Promotional fares will start at $89 one way.

Nonstop service to Fort Myers will begin Jan. 8, with flights operating Mondays and Fridays. Promotional fares on that route also will start at $89 one way.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Breeze Airways as our newest airline at Trenton-Mercer Airport, with nonstop flights to three destinations launching in the next six months,” Mercer County Executive Dan Benson said. “TTN offers the easiest air-travel experience in our region and we’re proud to keep expanding travelers’ options with affordable flights to even more locations, including the return of a non-stop destination outside of Florida. We look forward to continuing to build on our relationship with Breeze in the months and years ahead.”

Charleston will give Trenton-Mercer Airport a nonstop destination outside Florida, while the other three new routes expand the airport’s service to the Sunshine State.

Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman said the Trenton service represents another expansion for the airline in New Jersey.

“We’re excited to be expanding our footprint in the state of New Jersey with the addition of Trenton to our network,” Neeleman said. “With four great destinations we know our Guests will love the convenience, affordability and high-value we offer. We can’t wait to welcome them on board.”

Breeze currently operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes serving 91 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. The airline primarily operates Airbus A220-300 aircraft and offers amenities that include free family seating, onboard Wi-Fi, preferred-seat options and no change or cancellation fees.

The airline began flying in May 2021 and was founded by Neeleman, whose aviation career also includes founding or co-founding several other airlines.

Breeze was named to Time magazine’s TIME100 Most Influential Companies list for 2026. In 2025, it was recognized by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies and was named Best Major Airline in North America by the Airline Passenger Experience Association.

The promotional fares announced for the new Trenton routes are subject to travel dates, availability and other restrictions. The $59 Charleston promotion applies to travel between Sept. 20 and March 23, 2027, while the $89 promotional fares for Vero Beach and Fort Myers also apply during specified travel periods through March 23, 2027. Taxes and government fees are included in the advertised promotional prices.

Flights can be booked through Breeze Airways at flybreeze.com or through the airline’s mobile app.
