Roxey Ballet invites audiences of all ages to journey into the jungle with Mowgli’s Jungle Adventure on Sunday, May 24 at 2 p.m.

The family-friendly production looks to bring a story inspired by The Jungle Book to life through dance, theatrical storytelling, colorful costumes, and choreography.

Presented as part of Roxey Ballet’s Children’s Classic Stories series, Mowgli’s Jungle Adventure follows the adventures of Mowgli as he encounters Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, mischievous monkeys, and the fierce tiger Shere Khan in a jungle world filled with friendship, courage, and discovery.

Under the direction of Mark Roxey, the production combines professional artists, emerging performers, and community talent in a theatrical experience designed to appeal to children and adults alike.

Celebrating 30 years of artistic excellence, Frenchtown-based Roxey Ballet continues its mission of building community and cultural bridges through dance while creating accessible, engaging performances for audiences throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

“This production is about imagination, adventure, teamwork, and discovering where you belong,” said Roxey. “We are excited to welcome families into the jungle for an unforgettable theatrical experience filled with movement, storytelling, and wonder.”

The performance will be held at Villa Victoria Theater in Ewing. There is a free pre-performance dance workshop that begins at 1 p.m. Ticket sales and a full schedule of upcoming performances are online at roxeyballet.org.
