Deaths: Lynne (Lyn) Marcia Ransom

Lynne (Lyn) Marcia Ransom, 71, on December 14. She was a musician and composer who taught at Westminster Conservatory of Music of Rider University and several other colleges in the U.S. and was music director of Princeton United Methodist Church.

She founded Voices Chorale, a Princeton-area choir with nearly 50 auditioned members, in 1987, and was its conductor until her retirement in 2017. Services will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 2 p.m., at Trinity Church in Princeton and will include a performance by Voices Chorale.

Margaret Tuchman, 77, on December 16. She was the co-founder and president of the Parkinson Alliance. For more, see page 6.

Sidney Benjamin, 92, on January 2. He ran Flemington Furs for more than 65 years.

Steven W. Klein, 74, on January 6. He was a math professor who taught at Rider, Rutgers, and the University of Georgia.

Charlotte Guralski Ryan Norcross, 76, on January 5. She was music director and organist at the Church of the Holy Cross in Trenton for 55 years and Pearson United Methodist Church for 11 years.

David Michael Navarro, 59, on January 1. He owned and operated Navarro’s Restaurant in Trenton and Robbinsville for many years.

Marcia Devlin Ziemba, 83, on December 29. She was a telephone center director in the market research industry at Response Analysis Corporation and Total Research Corporation, both in Princeton.

Kathleen T. Brodowski, 79, on December 30. She worked at ETS in Princeton for 31 years.

Margaret C. Doyle McGuire, 88, on December 31. She worked for the Hibbert Group in Trenton.
