Hamilton Dental Associates (HDA) has been serving Hamilton and the greater central Jersey area for over 50 years. While HDA’s roots are in pediatric dentistry, they also specialize in adult and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, and endodontics. Patients are treated by specialists in their particular field. For example, orthodontic treatment is done by an orthodontic specialist, and patients requiring a root canal will be treated by an endodontist — a dentist who specializes in root canals. Hamilton Dental Associates uses state of the art dental technology, such as digital X-rays, 3-D X-rays, and digital impressions of teeth. In fact, the practice has been using digital X-ray technology since 2002. Digital impressions allow dentists to capture impressions of a patient’s teeth and gums without the use of messy impression materials. This technology is particularly useful for completing crowns in one visit thus eliminating the need for a temporary crown. Invisalign is also a great application of digital impression technology offered by HDA. Dr. Michael DeLuca describes how straightening teeth has never been more comfortable or discreet. “Teeth naturally move over time and many adults who never had braces are excited about Invisalign as a way to gently shift teeth back to their proper position.”
