Is It Time to Switch to an Electric Car?

Share post:

If you want to help stop climate change while never buying gasoline again, but also want to continue to do things like go to work and go shopping (in the absence of reliable public transit) it may be time to think about getting an electric car. While still a niche product, electric vehicles improve in range, cost, and reliability every year. Why not check one out in person?

The Greater West Windsor Electric Vehicle Coalition is organizing a car show to go along with National Drive Electric Week on Saturday, September 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Windsor Farmers Market. Electric vehicle owners of Mercer County will be on hand along with their vehicles, which have covered almost 400,000 miles of driving, to highlight the clean air benefits and cost savings of electric vehicles over their gas-guzzling counterparts.

Drivers will be available to answer questions about range, recharging, and operating costs. For more information visit www.driveelectricweek.org/1516.
