Reynold Levy, right, a nonprofit philanthropic leader and past president of Lincoln Center, shares his experiences and thoughts on contemporary nonprofit leadership on Thursday, April 7, at Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton.
Levy is currently the president and CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation, called New York’s largest poverty-fighting organization, and serves as an advisor to the private global equity firm General Atlantic, adjunct professor at Columbia University’s School of International Affairs, a director of First Republic Bank, and a consultant to nonprofits and foundations.
He is also the author of four books, including “They Told Me Not to Take Tat Job: Tumult, Betrayal, Heroics and the Transformation of Lincoln Center” — highlighting a 13 year tenure on a cultural frontline that included a $1.2 billion revitalization and the social aftermaths of both the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York City and the economic shocks of 2008.
The event designed to provide strengthen nonprofit leadership and advocacy is jointly sponsored by GFS and the Princeton Area Community Foundation and part of GFS’s speaker series that continues in May with best selling health and wellbeing advocate Dr. Deepak Chopra.
