The president of Cali per Farms Nursery LLC, a Belle Mead landscaping business, has been sentenced to nine months of prison and nine more of house arrest by a federal judge for allegedly dodging about half a million dollars worth of taxes between 2009 and 2013.

In March, Angelo DiMeglio pled guilty only to failing to report about $520,968 of income in 2011, which resulted in under-paying his taxes by $158,619 that year. In addition to prison time, DiMeglio was fined $10,000 and will serve two years of supervised release.

Prosecutors said DiMeglio put income from his business into personal accounts or those of family members to avoid reporting the revenue.
