United Way of Greater Mercer County wants to see a Reading Oasis in every school!

A Reading Oasis is a safe, inviting location in a school where families can enjoy reading together, learn how to make reading a habit at home, and gain access to books year-round.

United Way of Greater Mercer’s County’s mission is to empower the community to take a leading role in helping achieve personal and family self-sufficiency. United Way focuses on education, income, and health, which we believe are the fundamental building blocks for a good quality of life.

To learn more about sponsoring a Reading Oasis in a school or to volunteer please email Sandra.Toussaint@uwgmc.org or call 609-637-4907.
