The Ivy Sports Symposium, a unique gathering of dozens of leaders in the athletics business, will be held once again in Princeton, where it was first launched in 2007. The roster of speakers includes pro team owners, broadcasters, journalists, marketers, professional athletes, and founders and CEOs of some of the biggest companies in the sporting world. Organizers expect more than 500 people to attend.
The Ivy Sports Symposium will be held at the Princeton Hyatt Regency Friday, November 14, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $95 for students, $275 for customers 32 and under, and $450 for others. For more information, visit www.sportssymposium.org.

Tiki Barber, former NFL player and co-founder and co-chairman of Thuzio, an agency for book professional athletes for appearances at events.
Lisa Murray, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Octagon, a sports, music, and entertainment marketing company.
Scott O’Neil, CEO of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Prudential Center.
Mark Wilf, owner of the Minnesota Vikings.
The symposium will also host a “shark tank competition, which offers sports-based startup companies an opportunity to pitch their product and present their innovative ideas. Shortlisted teams will make their cases to an audience of sports business professionals.
The Sports Symposium was envisioned as a forum for students and sports professionals by Chris Chaney in his senior year at Princeton in 2007. It has since evolved to incorporate all corners of the athletics business. Chaney, now president and founder of Chaney Sports Group, has been named to Forbes “30 Under 30” list.
