Georgianne Vinicombe, owner of Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company located in Princeton Forrestal Village, has been your local trusted florist for more than 25 years.

Georgianne sparkles when she talks about the classes she offers in this location, and her store in Yardley. “We are surrounded by a product that makes people happy to be around. Bringing customers into our world and seeing how happy it makes them inspires us. We come away hyped up.”

She loves seeing how her students interact with each other. Many are long-time customers, and they come back to take more than one class. Georgianne explains “they feel like they are on a mini-vacation” when they come to her classes. “They leave feeling positive.”

The next class will be held on Wednesday, December 11, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wine and refreshments will be served as everyone makes a holiday wreath, a floral centerpiece, or both. Visit the website or call the store for more details.

Noticing a trend that only 5 percent of their business in the Princeton Forrestal Village store came from walk-in customers, Georgianne began offering $5 bouquets on Fridays. Customers can receive a text, sign up for the store’s E-mail blast, or check the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/localflorist to see what is being offered each week. Now she has between 40 and 60 people walking in her store on a Friday to buy flowers for the weekend.

“It has been good for us.” She recognizes they are not as convenient as a grocery store, so this is one way to get customers into their shop and see the quality of their designs while leaving with a beautiful bouquet.

Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company delivers to more than 70 zip codes, including area hospitals, funeral homes, schools, colleges, corporations, and throughout the communities. Every day there are between two and five trucks on the road. They also work with florists all over the globe. As long as the international florist offers delivery, Georgianne and her staff make it happen. They personally call every customer to let them know their flowers have been delivered, even when the delivery takes place on the other side of the globe. It is this level of service that sets them apart from the competition.

Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Company, Princeton Forrestal Village, 111 Main Street, Princeton. Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. sendingsmiles.com. 609-520-2005.
