Looking for a place to hold an event? Whether you’re planning to meet with two people or 200, the Conference Center at RWJ Hamilton Center for Health & Wellness can help you.

This unique venue offers concierge service, flexible catering options and state-of-the art technology to make your event a success — and a great value, says Sharon Dunham, conference center manager.

Each year the center helps hundreds of clients plan events, from individuals and community organizations planning social events and banquets to corporate, government and nonprofit organizations planning conferences, meetings and retreats.

Its convenient location near Route 1, I-195, I-295 and New Jersey Transit’s Hamilton Rail Station on the Northeast Corridor line, makes it easy to get to and from within New Jersey. Facilities include an auditorium that seats 200-plus with breakout capabilities, a state-of-the-art audio, video and Internet capabilities. The Center is complemented by four additional classrooms, each of which can accommodate up to 30 people. A technology training room with 16 workstations occupies another classroom and is ideal for online demonstrations and training.

Another unique feature is the Healthy Cooking Kitchen. The facility includes cameras so that everyone in the room can see exactly what the cook is doing. The kitchen also has work stations and can accommodate up to 30 people actually preparing food. The kitchen is a great place for team building exercises, says Dunham. “You can have one department making the salad and another making the appetizers and a third making the dessert. Then at the end everyone gets eat and share together. It’s a great and fun way for teams to learn more about each other,” says Dunham.

Other unique meeting features include stress management and health education programs. The center also offers on-site catering with flexible menu planning. “We always try to accommodate any special requests,” adds Dunham.

In addition, every person attending the event will receive a free one-day pass to the 86,000-square-foot RWJ Hamilton Center for Health & Wellness. The passes do not need to be used on the same day as the event. The passes cover access to the three pools, sauna, exercise equipment and exercise studios.

But the best part of holding an event at the center, says Dunham, is the great atmosphere. “We’re the best in the area because of the energy everyone feels when they just walk through our doors. As soon as people walk in I see their attitudes begin to change. The immediately feel energized.” That’s a great way to start a meeting!
