The New Jersey Society of CPAs will host a half-day workshop aimed at teaching women how to reinvent themselves in a changing economy through personal, professional, and financial growth.

The day will feature a trio of presentations, beginning with one by CPA Anne Skalka, who will present “Your Entrepreneurial Dream — Crunching the Numbers.” Skalka holds a bachelor’s in economics from Rutgers and launched Anne Skalka and Associates in 1991, after more than 10 years in accounting firms in New York and New Jersey. Her firm is based at 2999 Princeton Pike in Lawrenceville.
Linda Jay of Prudential Insurance Company will then present “My Career Transition — Journey to Success.” Jay, a formal professional equity trader, was the first female senior floor official on the New York Stock Exchange in 2004, charged with overseeing the trading process.
Finally, professional coach Donna Coulson will present “From Career Track to Entrepreneur: Seven Success Factors to Make the Transition and Still Have a Life.” Coulson, a member of the faculties of Rutgers’ Center for Management Development and Corporate Coach University, is the founder of Donna Coulson & Associates in West Long Branch.
