Junior Achievement New Jersey recently received a $52,000 grant from from the Bridgewater-based Allstate Foundation to support the High School Heroes Project. JANJ will used the money to present the Junior Achievement curriculum to K-5 students at Trenton’s Stokes Elementary School.

New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance, headquartered in West Trenton, recently pledged $1 million to support the state Department of Community Affairs’ Neighborhood Revitalization Program. The initiatives in East Trenton balance the need for good housing with appropriate commercial development.

MagyarBank Charitable Foundation recently granted $37,000 to several non-profits in Middlesex and Somerset counties toward education, affordable housing, youth programs, and health and human services.
