A full-service salon and spa experience awaits guests at Koi SpaSalon in Princeton Forrestal Village, where eastern and western techniques combine to achieve optimal results.
While other spas may make the same claim, Koi differentiates itself with stand-out services unique to the area, and a well- trained, customer-focused staff.
“Our staff is highly screened; we only pick the best,” said Gina Polevoy, who co-owns Koi SpaSalon with husband, Stuart. “They are well trained, highly qualified and attuned to customers’ needs.”
Guests enjoy Koi SpaSalon for relaxation. There’s a quiet
reflection room, complete with a massive Koi fish tank. There are 11 treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy treatment tub, and a Geisha Grand tub, which accommodates singles and couples. Spa services range from massages and body care to medi-spa treatments, facials and tanning. The massage menu is extensive, and includes pre-natal, reflexology, warm stone, sports, Swedish and Balinese. Salon services include hair cutting, styling, coloring, manicures, pedicures and makeovers.
The hydrotherapy tubs set Koi apart from the rest. The Geisha Grande Tub is built for one or two, and uses jets of water, a drench shower overhead and fiberoptic color therapy for ultimate relaxation.
In addition, a single-person hydrotherapy treatment tub offers amazing options. It’s a capsule, so guests may choose to be enclosed to enjoy 30 jets and sprays of water from the Vichy shower inside. Those experiencing wraps and other body treatments can take advantage of another feature: the tub has a special platform, so guests can stay above the water and enjoy the warm steam that filters through.
“Couples can enjoy our signature service, the Geisha Experience for Two, in our Bamboo Suite, where they indulge in a soak in the tub followed by a massage in the hands of our skilled and knowledgeable
therapists,” Polevoy said.
Koi delights guests with its
private Spa Suite, which can accommodate small groups such as bridal parties, bachelorette parties, showers, and more. It includes many personal care stations: three pedicure, two manicure and three hair-styling. There also are three multipurpose rooms for massage and body treatments. Guests enjoying a party or spa or salon services can relax with catering provided by the Club Cafe at CAN DO Fitness Club next door.
Brides and grooms can prepare for their special day by getting in shape with the Koi SpaSalon-CAN DO Wedding Package. It includes personal training, fitness classes and nutritional counseling at the Polevoys’ CAN DO Fitness Club, as well as spa and salon services.
“Our salon services and staff are top of the line,” Polevoy noted. “The majority are Vidal Sassoon trained and specialize in color and highlights.”
