Calling All Quitters

If the state’s new ban on smoking in public places has you or any of your employees on edge, at least one new business is ready to help.

Patricia Repetto opened a medical communications firm, Princeton Health Solutions, at the beginning of January. A native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, she went to Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania and has a master’s degree in public health from Penn State. She has experience in the smoking cessation area with two Manhattan mayors (Giuliani and Bloomberg) and at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Repetto will develop smoking cessation programs for corporations and individuals and accessible, nonacademic E-learning segments on a website to train clinicians and corporations in the psychological techniques necessary to treat tobacco dependence.

She will bring in two partners when she acquires seed money from corporations that want to develop treatment programs to go with products they sell to fight nicotine addiction.
