As parents consider summer activities for their children, Kumon’s enrichment program gives children the daily practice needed to catch-up and stay ahead during the break.
According to a Duke University study, most students lose about two months of grade level equivalency in math computation skills during the summer months. Over the long-term, taking two months from learning, adds up to more than two years between first grade and high school.
Summer is the ideal time to enroll in Kumon, the world’s largest after-school program that helps children get and stay ahead of the curve.
Kumon of Princeton Junction is waiving the registration fee for the
very first time from June 1st through July 15th for summer enrollment. Students from pre-school to high school can enroll.
Kumon of Princeton Junction Summer Study Program:
• 15-30 minutes of daily practice keeps a child’s mind sharp and engaged, nurturing his or her potential.
• Lesson plans are personalized to each child’s ability, allowing students to advance and maximize their natural talent.
• Students develop at their own pace, progressing according to their actual ability and not by their school grade level or age.
• Students come to the center on Tuesday and Thursday for just a half-hour per subject at any time between 3-7 p.m.
• Kumon of Princeton Junction works with all families and all summer schedules to accommodate summer camps, travel plans and other activities.
• Tuition: $120 per month, per subject.
The next Parent Information Sessions are on Wednesday, May 25 from 7 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, June 8, from 7 to 8 p.m.
