Too often when you realize that you cannot manage daily activities by yourself, you feel at a loss. Where to turn? Whether you live alone or are a caregiver who works outside the home, it is a daunting task to find out what services are available. That is exactly the time to turn to Senior Care Adult Day Medical of Hamilton at 410 Whitehead Road.

“We are a full-service adult day medical center, unique to the area,” says Center Director Stan Dervech. “Our adult day care centers are a preferred alternative to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or institutional care.”

Senior Care of Hamilton, located for 25 years in Ewing, moved to Hamilton in April of this year. The new location boasts a brand-new facility that is larger and completely state-of-the-art. Hours are convenient for members’ needs. They are open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

“We serve the region’s population, with members from across Mercer County and into Middlesex,” says Dervech. “One of the most frustrating aspects of choosing a care provider is how to get there. Consequently, we provide transportation for our members to and from our centers. Transportation may also be provided to and from medical appointments. With convenient pick-up and drop-off times, and escorted handicapped-accessible vehicles equipped with emergency communications, we take the burden off members and caregivers.”

Senior Care of Hamilton offers services to a wide array of medical needs ranging from Dementia/Alzheimer, Diabetes, Parkinsons, and strokes to assistance for members who need help with daily living such as bathing, medications administered, and doctor visits. They are equipped to assist members with developmental and intellectual disabilities as well.

“Our caring bilingual medical staff is committed to improving your quality of life with expert medical care, well balanced meals and focus on overall well-being. Self-esteem, dignity, and independence are nurtured with both internal and external activities for all levels of participation. Members enjoy shopping at local department and grocery stores, dining out once a month at local restaurants such as Red Lobster. We often have live entertainment. We even have games of balloon volleyball and bingo that are really exciting,” says Dervech.

“We serve members who have Medicaid, long-term care insurance, self-pay, workers’ compensation, and local elder services agencies. Our services are a proven cost-effective alternative to long-term care facilities or home help. Senior Care of Hamilton is a place where you can find a warm friendly staff, kindness, caring, and understanding. Life can be made easier, safer, and more robust with services tailored to your needs. We strive to change the way you live not where you live.”
