Dr. Smeeta Sinha is the newest addition to Princeton Dermatology Associates. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Sinha earned her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and completed her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, where she was elected President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

She completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and returned to UMDNJ for her residency in dermatology, where she rose to the level of Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Sinha is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Medical Association.

“Dermatology has been a passion of mine because the field reaches people of all ages and ethnicities and it is constantly evolving,” she says. Dr. Sinha specializes in Adult and Pediatric Dermatology and surgery of the skin. “The skin is a window into the inner workings of the body, and changes in your skin could be a sign of internal disease. It is very rewarding to be able to help my patients identify potentially serious conditions like skin cancer, or even help improve their self-image.”

Princeton Dermatology Associates has several locations throughout central New Jersey, including 301 North Harrison Street, in Princeton, 1950 State Highway 27 in North Brunswick, 2 Tree Farm Road, in Pennington, 307 Omni Drive, in Hillsborough, and 5 Centre Drive, Monroe Township. Dr. Sinha practices at the Monroe office.

“All of the doctors and staff members in the practice are committed to providing total skin care solutions for our patients,” says Dr. Sinha. “Our team of providers has a variety of specialties and backgrounds, but we all have the same goal: to provide excellent dermatologic care in a compassionate and friendly environment.” The practice provides medical care for all types of skin conditions and problems, including skin cancer detection and treatment and highly specialized surgical services including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, laser treatments, cosmetic facial treatments, and sclerotherapy.
