Why must they compete with coconuts
rather than bananas?
Whether glue, tools, cereal,
candy, or lozenges needed now
to prevent nuisance coughing,
a frustrated flight is built into
each anticipated use.
They protect their products
from dirt, destruction, and you.
Is it me? Not when I see grown men,
their mellow mood, patience parting,
fuming as they cope. Often, I fear
the package is better designed,
costs more, is sturdier than the product.
