With its convenient location and easy access to routes 95, 295, 130, and 33, families from Yardville, Groveville, Bordentown, Robbinsville, Crosswicks, Allentown, and Burlington all enjoy attending classes at Mrs. Pev’s. While the children may come from the four corners of central New Jersey, once they get to Mrs. Pev’s they find a comforting environment, one where a love for children and a strong belief in their innate ability to learn best through play is the cornerstone of the school.

Mrs. Pev’s Preschool provides children 2 to 5 years of age with the opportunity to develop socially, emotionally and academically during their most impressionable stages. Through the use of creative, age-appropriate curriculum that encompasses all aspects of learning including math, science, language, reading readiness, and music. Mrs. Pev’s Preschool helps each child to establish a positive self-concept and see the world as a friendly place where they have the power to reach their highest potential.

There are large indoor and outdoor play areas where a certified gym program takes place every other week for all 2 to 5-year-olds in attendance. The classrooms are attractively decorated with a variety of crafts and projects made by the children. The curriculum engages the children in active participation and social and self-help skills are strongly encouraged and developed.

Parent participation also plays a big part in Mrs. Pev’s program, which is organized by a loving, experienced staff under the direction of Mrs. Peverada (BA in Early Childhood Education, St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, and M.Ed in Special Education from Fordham University) who holds to a philosophy that children should be given the maximum opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, and academically during their most impressionable stages.

All teachers are CPR certified. Mrs. Pev’s Preschool places an emphasis on an age-appropriate curriculum that encompasses math, science, language, reading readiness, music, art, gym, and — of course — play time.

Mrs. Pev’s strives to operate in an open and caring environment that is combined with positive reinforcement to help build independence and self-esteem. We encourage families to take advantage of our open door policy and visit us with or without an appointment Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
