Renovated Amwell Mall Offers New Space at Lower Occupancy Cost

Eight months after purchasing Amwell Mall in Hillsborough at 450 Amwell Road, Larken Associates has completed renovations to the first-floor retail and second-floor medical/office space, offering business owners looking to upgrade their office space a great opportunity.

“Everything is new, including our aggressive new pricing model, so it’s a great time for businesses to relocate to a brand new office at a lower occupancy cost,” said David Gardner, president and CEO for Larken Associates.

Modern touches to the 35,000-square-foot mixed-use development included new landscaping and paving, a complete facade renovation, and a new monument sign. Interior improvements included new tenant signage, and new decor in common hallways, entryways, and bathrooms. The interiors of all units have been or will be renovated as they become vacant.

The developer converted 4,000 square feet on the second floor into executive suites and co-working space that it rebranded as “Suite Life at Amwell Mall” in response to the ever-growing need for short-term leases by freelancers and start-up companies.

“The retail units are all leased, and the building has a great location off Route 206, making this a very well-trafficked complex for businesses looking to attract new clients,” continued Gardner.

12,550 square feet of medical/office space is currently available with units starting at 1,047 square feet.
