Skeleton fingers

Disjointed, pointing

In all directions

Bone skin bandages

In a perpetual

State of peeling

Like curled documents

Still bound

To her living case

Between her smooth

Joints, scarred and ragged,

Is each encoded trajectory,

Sharply outlined in

Brown, naked winter

Her white body

Only softening

In the heaviness

Of sunlit snow.
