Forrestal Village Fitness opened on December 16, 2014, in the former Princeton CAN DO location. It is now under new ownership and professionally managed by MediFit Corporate Services, a privately held fitness and wellness management and consulting company based out of Florham Park, NJ.

Tom Anderson is the general manager, and after 15 years of being with CAN DO, joined the MediFit team during the December transition to the new Forrestal Village Fitness. As the general manager, Tom is looking forward to sharing with the community the unique features of the fitness center. “One of the stand-out features of Forrestal Village Fitness is our great programming. Our group fitness schedule is second to none, and we have an unbelievable team of instructors. Our classes are very popular primarily because our staff is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and motivating. The entire club atmosphere is inviting with its unique layout that covers three floors and boasts multiple workout options and spaces.”

With more than 72,000 square feet, Forrestal Village Fitness is a full service, state-of-the-art fitness center providing an exceptionally positive experience for everyone from novice to expert. With an expansive array of fitness equipment, group fitness classes, aquatics programming, and professional, attentive staff, there is something for everyone ages six weeks and up at Forrestal Village Fitness.

Members enjoy the benefit of complimentary childcare for children as young as six weeks. At age four, programs for youth are available including swim lessons and martial arts. At age seven children may participate in specialized fitness programs.

Programing for adults include dedicated studios for Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Group Exercise, Boxing, Sports Training, and Martial Arts. The aquatics center provides two pools for lap swimming, swim lessons, swim team, and group aquatics classes. With three large floors offering extensive weight training and cardio equipment, there is something for everyone and no waiting.

“We offer a studio experience in a club environment,” offers Diana Thomas, vice president with MediFit. “People are impressed that our membership includes free weekly classes plus the health club.”

The ability to relax and re-charge after a workout is an additional feature not often found in most traditional fitness centers. The locker rooms feature a steam room, sauna, and whirlpool, and are adjacent to the Koi Spa. “We feel our environment compliments your workout,” adds Diana. “It is a place to re-charge.”

There is an enrollment fee for new members plus monthly dues. Dues include the use of the fitness center, equipment, and more than 100 group fitness classes each week, including yoga, Zumba, Pilates Mat, and Spinning. Membership also includes complimentary childcare.

Take a great class, stroll on a treadmill, swim some laps, or relax by the fireplace. Forrestal Village Fitness promises to fulfill your fitness and relaxation needs.
