A new, contemporary, and state-of-the-art office is a welcoming place for Dr. Nicole Schrader’s patients who come to her for her exceptional facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, functional facial plastic surgeries, surgeries to correct issues of the ear, nose and throat, facial rejuvenation, and now NeoGraft, the latest solution for hair loss.
Dr. Schrader is a facial plastic surgeon, a sub-specialty of otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), which gives her depth for treating both functional and cosmetic issues.
“NeoGraft — for both men and women — is the first minimally invasive, FDA-approved treatment for hair loss,” she said. “There’s no incision, no sutures, no linear scar, and large areas can be done in a single session. I’ve never seen a faster recovery time, virtually the next day.”
Also new to the practice is a skin care specialist who handles facial services such as peels. In fact, Dr. Schrader has added a glycolic peel and a VI peel to the menu of rejuvenation procedures.
Dr. Schrader also uses non-surgical techniques to enhance the face: Restylane, Juvederm and the patient’s own fat. Restylane® and Juvederm® are hyaluronic products (proteins that are naturally found in the skin) that are injected in the hollow region of the lower eyes and can be used to reduce the laxity of the upper eyelids by improving the position of the eyebrows. It can last up to 8 months. Botox injections can also be used to reduce the crow’s feet wrinkles in an eyelid lift procedure, further enhancing the overall appearance.
“When we look at the big picture, a lot of beauty and feeling better about ourselves comes down to taking care of issues on the face,” said Dr. Schrader.
After earning her medical degree in Germany, where she graduated summa cum laude, Dr. Schrader moved to the U.S. Her post-doctoral training included an a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia and a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, N.J. She is also double board certified in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Schrader has more than a decade of experience, with five-plus years in private practice in Princeton. In addition to her double board certifications, she is a diplomate of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and a diplomate of American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
