The Capital Singers Women’s Ensemble and the Capital Philharmonic will present the world premiere of Princeton composer Vince di Mura’s symphonic work “Oh God…Beautiful Machine” on Saturday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Patriot’s Theater at the Trenton War Memorial.

The full ensemble will present “Winter Songs XIX: Cold Air…Warm Hearts” on Sunday, December 7, at Sacred Heart Church, Trenton, featuring works by Vaughan Williams, Ames, Myers, and Will, as well as Robert Shaw and Russell Bennett’s “The Many Moods of Christmas, Suite One.”

The season concludes with “The Testament of Freedom,” commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Randall Thompson’s masterwork will be joined by music of America’s indigenous traditions. Concerts take place May 31 in Trenton, June 6 in Cranbury, and June 7 in Beach Haven.
