More than one company has been successfully launched from the office building at 707 State Road, on the northern end of Princeton — known as Princeton Gateway Corporate Campus.

One of the most successful was Medarex, a biopharmaceutical firm that developed monoclonal antibody-based therapeutics for cancer, inflammation, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. It was acquired in 2009 by Bristol-Myers Squibb for $2.4 billion.

In 2010 Netrics, a technology company with a data matching engine and information retrieval software, was acquired by Tibco, a California firm specializing in data governance, master data management, and event-driven software.

Omthera Pharmaceuticals, founded in 2008, focused on the clinical development of new therapies for people who suffer from elevated triglyceride levels and increased risk of cardiovascular disease. In 2013, less than three months after Omthera went public, AstraZeneca, the British pharmaceutical company, purchased the company for $443 million. Omthera had only 14 employees at the time.

Also in 2013 the Princeton Economics Group, a consulting firm that specialized in antitrust lawsuits, was bought by Compass Lexecon, a Chicago-based consulting powerhouse. Founder Peter Bronsteen received an undisclosed amount of money.

In 2016 iMED Global, a contract research organization, merged with FMD K&L, another CRO based in Pennsylvania and China.

Other companies currently located at 707 State Road, in addition to Radius8, include Gallagher O’Gorman & Young; Van Dyck Law; Howard Design Group; Maia Pharmaceuticals; New Jersey League of Conservation Voters; Eminence Medical Aesthetics, Buckley Theroux Kline & Petraske; and — the most recent arrival — WDB Medical Data.
