You can find a preview of an unusual art opening by Byron Aubrey, a reprint of a piece that was first published in the newsletter of the Progressive Center for Independent Living. If the author’s last name rings a bell, it should: Byron is the son of Dan Aubrey, U.S. 1 arts editor. The Byron Aubrey-curated exhibit, which has an opening reception Sunday, January 20, at 2 p.m. at the Plainsboro Library, is also the subject of a column by Richard K. Rein.

Meanwhile, Diccon Hyatt, business editor and author of our cover story in this winter wellness issue, has some news of his own to announce. Hyatt and his wife, Karen Kohaut, welcomed the arrival of their first child on January 10. Katherine Odessa Hyatt weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
