Auditions
Kelsey Theater hosts auditions for performers ages 8 and up for “Seussical, the Musical,” produced by Ruth Markoe and Theater To Go, on Saturday, February 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, February 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Callbacks, by invitation, are Saturday, February 28, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Seussical, the Musical is a celebration of imagination and community, weaving together beloved stories from the world of Dr. Seuss. Led by the mischievous Cat in the Hat, the musical follows Horton the Elephant as he protects the tiny Whos living on a speck of dust while also guarding an abandoned egg left in his care by Mayzie La Bird.
Performances are scheduled for Fridays through Sundays, June 5 through 14, at the theater located on Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Those auditioning should bring a headshot and resume or email them in advance to info@theatertogo.com. Prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre or show tune. Please bring sheet music and be prepared to learn a short dance routine.
Rehearsals will begin in early April with an exact schedule to be determined.
Kelsey Theater also holds auditions for “The 39 Steps,” adapted from the film by Alfred Hitchcock and produced by: Maurer Productions OnStage, Inc.
Only four actors play more than 50 characters in what becomes a feat of herculean hilarity and hairpin turns in this two-time Tony Award-winning whodunit in which a chance encounter with an ill-fated beautiful spy sends Richard Hannay into the bullseye of a dangerous international crime ring.
Auditions take place at the theater on Saturday and Sunday, February 28 and March 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call backs, by invitation, will be held Monday, March 2.
Performances take place Fridays through Sundays, April 24 through May 3.

Those auditioning will be asked to read excerpts from the script, alone and with others. Auditioners should wear comfortable clothing/shoes. Bring the complete audition form, all conflicts, resume, and photo.
Rehearsals will be scheduled based on cast availability and will generally be two evenings per week and one weekend day rehearsal until we are closer to opening.
Villagers Theatre holds auditions for “Legally Blonde The Musical” Based on the adored movie, the musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will take place at the theater located at 515 DeMott Lane, Somerset. Auditions will be held Thursday and Friday, February 26 and 27, from 7 to 10 p.m., with invited callbacks on Sunday, March 1, from noon to 8 p.m. Auditioners may arrive at any time prior to 9:30 p.m. and will be seen in order of arrival.
All those auditioning will be asked to sing 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show.
For those unable to attend in-person, video auditions may be submitted as an alternative.
Submissions should be sent to LegallyBlonde@VillagersTheatre.org no later than 9:30 p.m. on Friday, February 27, to be considered. If you send a video submission for auditions, you must be able to attend callbacks in person to be considered.
Performances are scheduled for Fridays through Sundays, June 12 through 28, with the exception of a Thursday, June 18, performance replacing the Juneteenth show.
Rehearsals will begin the week of March 9. Rehearsals will take place at the theater generally four days per week, on weeknights and weekend afternoons.

Call for Art
The Artists of Yardley (AOY) Art Center invites artists to participate in its 14th Annual Juried Show — a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the vibrant artistic talent of the region. Amanda C. Burdan, senior curator at the Brandywine Museum of Art, is this year’s juror.
Friday, March 13, is the entry deadline for the exhibit scheduled to be on view from April 11 through May 3. The first place submission receives a $1,000 award. The entry fee is $40 for AOY members and $55 for non-members. Each artist is allowed to submit up to three pieces.
