Looking Ahead to U.S. 1’s Fall Arts Preview

Even though die-hard Boston Red Sox fans may wish it were so, summer is not really over (not by a long shot, according to some Yankee fans who cling to faint hopes that their team might yet catch their arch-rivals before the end of the season).

Nevertheless, the unofficial summer season is facing its final holiday weekend. It’s Labor Day, which means that the U.S. 1 offices will be closed on Monday, September 3. It also means that the deadline for classified ads moves from the end of the day Monday to the end of the day Friday. But (truth to tell) if you e-mail your ad to class@princetoninfo.com anytime over the weekend, the chances are good that we will be able to take care of it first thing Tuesday morning, if not before, and get it into the September 5 issue.

Labor Day also marks an official start of the fall arts season. That will be marked by U.S. 1’s Fall Arts Preview on September 12. If your organization has not already sent us details of your fall season, now is the time to do so. Please e-mail events@princetoninfo.com.

In the arts, of course, as in baseball (according to Yogi Berra), “it ain’t over ‘til it’s over.” But Preview editor Dan Aubrey is already allocating space for the September 12 issue so time is of the essence.
