Letter to the Editor: On the New Jersey Tidelands

I wanted to compliment you on the fine article on the issue of tidelands in New Jersey (July 26). You did a wonderful job in explaining some of the intricacies associated with tidelands, which is a real benefit to the general public. There are two corrections to note:

1. Though I would have been honored to have law clerked for Chief Justice Poritz, that is a position that I have never held. In fact, I was a Deputy Attorney General when Chief Justice Poritz was Attorney General.

2. The reference to the Chief Justice in a paraphrase by her first name was not a direct quote as, of course, I would not refer to Her Honor in that manner.
