The speaker Tom Szaky, founder and CEO of Terraycle, who will speak on “Growing In Trenton: Terracycle’s Global Impact.” To register visit www.princetonchamber.org or call 609-924-1776.

Szaky dropped out of Princeton University in his sophomore year in 2003 to create Terracycle, which originally made plant food from worm poop. Since moving to 121 New York Avenue in Trenton in 2004, Szaky’s firm has shifted its focus to create products out of material that would otherwise end up in landfills.

For example, it recently partnered with Eos Products, which makes lip balms, shaving cream, and body lotions, and has created a system by which consumers can have Eos products recycled into park benches, picnic tables, bike racks, and other durable products.
