Collab Infotech, a consulting company, has moved into a larger office at 4390 Route 1 after a year of steady expansion. CEO Sam Matreja said he founded Collab four and a half years ago in a home office, moving to his current building a year ago. “We have doubled in size in the last year,” he said, bringing the total number of employees up to 15.

Matreja said the company mostly provides services for pharmaceutical companies, as well as a few financial companies. It provides technical staff on a contract basis to Johnson & Johnson, and was recently ranked no. 1 among the company’s 134 vendors, Matreja said.

Matreja, who is from India, is an engineer who previously worked at Clarksville Road-based consulting company NewAgeSys.

CURE Media Group publishes CURE magazine, a free magazine for cancer patients, survivors, and medical professionals with a circulation of about 325,000.

CURE will join MJH’s OncLive (www.onclive.com) platform of educational resources for oncologists. Mike Hennessy, chairman and CEO of MJH, said: “We are dedicated to preserving and improving the quality of healthcare throughout the world through research, education, and communication. We look forward to growing the CURE brand and further enhancing its exceptional reputation as a vital resource for patients and their caregivers. We will continue CURE’s rich history of featuring relevant content designed to help patients make informed decisions from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship.”

In 2008 it purchased the medical group of College Road-based Ascend Media, which consisted of the American Journal of Managed Care, Cardiology Review, and several other journals, all previously owned by Hennessy’s brother Jack.
