Vincent Costantino has been hired by St. Francis Medical Center to oversee the hospital’s strategy and management as chief administrative officer, the hospital’s top management position.

Costantino has 15 years of experience in healthcare operations. Previously Costantino was with Aria Health (formerly Frankford Health System) in Philadelphia, where he was executive hospital director. “St. Francis is an innovative healthcare leader and I look forward to developing and growing its business operations,” Costantino said.

Costantino earned an MBA from Rutgers and a bachelor’s degree in business at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Christy Stephenson, who served as interim president and CEO and executive vice president of strategic and clinical transformation, will stay on board and continue to lead strategic and population health projects.

St. Francis Medical Center is also expanding its partnership with Lourdes Health System, its sister institution through Trinity Health.

“It only became natural that our two organizations would be drawn together even further,” said St. Francis board chairman David Knowlton. Through the partnership, Lourdes and St. Francis will have a combined cardiothoracic surgery team that provides services at both Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro and St. Francis Medical Center.
