Make Divorce a Little Nicer

If your Valentine’s Day plans aren’t going so well, the Mercer County Chapter of BW Nice (Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education) is hosting a talk on divorce the day before the holiday.

BW Nice is partnering with Womanspace, the domestic violence service, on the event. It will be held Monday, February 13, at Salt Creek Grille. Tickets are $18 for BW Nice members, $25 for nonmembers. Rosanne DeTorres, managing partner of DeTorres & DeGeorge law firm, will discuss how to plan a divorce, including learning how to recognize when it is time, what to ask a divorce lawyer, and common myths about divorce. For more information, visit www.bwnice.org/mercer-county-chapter-nj, call 732-841-4458, or e-mail bwnicemercer@gmail.com

The organization will also be collecting donations for Womanspace at the event. The group is asking for diapers, women’s and girls’ leggings, and gift cards for ShopRite, Acme, Target, and Wal-Mart.

BW Nice offers education, support, and resources to businesswomen while raising funds for and supporting Womanspace.
