The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau recently received $106,250 from the state Division of Travel & Tourism to bolster the chamber’s marketing efforts.

The money, offered through Travel & Tourism’s 2008 Destination Marketing Organization Grant Program, is set to enhance the www.visitprinceton.org website, and expand search engine marketing, print and online advertising, and a direct mail program. It also will increase distribution of the PRCVB’s publications and communications.

Chamber president and CEO Karen Colimore said the funding “strengthens the CVB as the fastest growing component of the chamber.” The CVB, a chamber program boasting more than 140 members, plans to highlight the Princeton region’s cultural, historic, educational, and artistic destinations.
