On Monday, August 30, Robbinsville-based facilities maintenance supplier Grainger will host a sustainability forum to mark the installation of a 1-megawatt solar panel system intended to supply 40 percent of the electrical load for the 434,000-square-foot facility. The forum and open house will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Grainger Distribution Center, 18 Applegate Drive North and is free to attend. Visit www.grainger.com for more information.

According to Grainger, the forum will feature talks on sustainability by experts from Middlesex County Community College, the U.S. Green Building Council, SunPower of Trenton, and Alliance Energy Solutions, a Connecticut-based consulting firm with offices around the Northeast. A tour of the grounds, lunch, and networking will follow.
