Frontier Adds Routes Dropped by Allegiant

Share post:

Allegiant Airlines is stopping its flights from Trenton-Mercer Airport to Orlando/Sanford and St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Florida, while its competitor, Frontier, is adding new routes and increasing the frequency of its flights. Frontier said it is adding service to Miami in October, and increasing the frequency of flights to Orlando and Tampa.

The rival budget airlines are the only two commercial operators at Trenton-Mercer airport. Allegiant, which began flights from TTN in late 2016, now flies only to Punta Gorda, Florida, while Frontier flies to Atlanta; Chicago; Detroit; Charlotte, North Carolina; and seven cities in Florida.
