Deaths

Stanford H. Spencer, 69, on February 15. He was self employed and was formerly an engineer at Johnson & Johnson and RJ Nabisco.

Richard Atkinson, 57, on February 26. He was employed at Genesis Health Care/Mercerville Center. Services will be held Friday, March 8, at noon at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High Street in Mount Holly.

Julio Cesar del Castillo Sr., 91, on February 27. His career spanned decades as a state Department of Corrections medical director and forensic psychiatrist. He was published numerous times in medical journals, including a theory about the link between schizophrenia and bee stings, in the mid-1960s, which was picked up worldwide.

Charles Raymond Solt, 93, on March 1. He worked for Lenox Pottery in Trenton for 22 years, where he oversaw production of china for Presidents Reagan, Carter, and Nixon.

Arthur W. Becker Jr., 84, on March 2. He was retired from Educational Testing Service where he was a senior system analyst. Services will be Thursday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road in Pennington.

Catherine Lee Tkacs Davila, 55, on February 27. She was the manager of PM Pest Control for 17 years.

Angelo V. Candelori, 81, on February 21. He worked at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory for 33 years.

Joseph Flummerfelt, 82, on March 1. He was an emeritus professor of choral conducting, conductor laureate, and former artistic director at Westminster Choir College.
