DeVry University (DV), 630 Route 1 North, North Brunswick 08902; 732-279-3532; fax, 732-729-3806. Chris W. Grevesen PhD, president. www.nj.devry.edu.

There has been a minor shake-up in the for-profit colleges on Route 1, with the Ross University veterinary school leaving the DeVry University campus last year. Nearby at 651 Route 1, Anthem technical school was bought by Branford Hall Career Institute in January. DeVry is now host to the Chamberlain College of Nursing.

“Chamberlain will create new opportunities for qualified students to develop the skills needed for successful and fulfilling nursing careers, and for lifelong learning,” said Susan Groenwald, national president of Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Co-located with DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management at 630 Route 1, Chamberlain’s North Brunswick campus offers an on-site bachelor of science in nursing degree program. The North Brunswick campus is Chamberlain’s 17th location nationwide and will be led by Robin Goodrich, a nurse who also has a doctorate in education and a master’s in nursing.

The school is accepting applications for its spring semester beginning in May. Open houses begin March 3. For more information, visit www.chamberlain.edu/northbrunswick.
