The Junior League of Greater Princeton completed several Princeton Nursery School renovation projects with the help of area businesses and artists. Lisa Walsh of Atmospheric Designs and Libby Ramage of the Arts Council of Princeton designed a mural for the JLGP provisional class to paint, with the children’s participation. Among those donating materials were Mike Skillman of Morris Maple of Nassau Street; Franc Gambatese, general manager of Lowe’s West Windsor; Sharon Levy of Taking Tea In Style; and Kids Preferred Inc.

Along with the mural making, the JLGP organized and participated in a scrapbooking activity with teachers and students at PNS to allow the students to document their experiences, They also worked with teachers to create bilingual picture dictionaries for the students. At the unveiling, a drum group, Raices, from the Cultural Center in New Brunswick played. A plaque and a CD, containing words and images describing the project, was presented to be used by future students.
