TD Bank recently gave $1,000 college scholarships to each of 15 high schoolers from Monmouth, Mercer, and Middlesex counties. The awards have granted scholarships to 225 high school students heading off to two or four-year colleges.

Comcast Cable, based at 50 Millstone Road in Cranbury, recently donated two “gently used” Ford utility vans to HomeFront of Mercer County. The vans will be used in the maintenance of HomeFront’s affordable apartment units, which house 160 families.

Allstate Insurance, which has several branches in Mercer, Monmouth, and Middlesex counties, has granted $35,000 to Boys and Girls Clubs in New Jersey, including Trenton. The grant looks to promote tolerance, diversity.

Tektite Industries, a maker of LED-based lighting headquartered in Trenton recently donated 83 LED bicycle lights to the Trenton Boys ‘n’ Girls Club Bike Exchange, the Princeton Borough Police Department, and the Princeton Township Police Department. The lights, worth around $1,700 retail, will be sold with refurbished bikes at the bike exchange, with the money going to the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton and Mercer County.
