Derma Sciences, a specialty medical device and pharmaceutical company focused on wound care, today announced on February 17 that it would offer 972,000 shares of common stock for $5 a share.
The announcement follows news that the firm has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Medline Industries for sales of one of its key products, the BioGuard Barrier Dressing. Medline, based in Ontario, is the second-leading provider of traditional wound care products to nursing homes, hospitals, and acute care agencies. Sales will begin by the end of the month. Terms of the agreement were not released.

Kendall Park Learning Center, which offers year-round academic proms for student K-12, has moved its Everett Drive location to Princeton-Hightstown Road.
The school was founded in 1989 by Audrey Doryumu as a remedy for the public school system and an affordable alternative to elite private schools. The school offers individualized programs, home schooling, SAT prep, and college counseling.
Doryumu, who attended King’s College London, has taught at Rutgers and at the Katherine Gibbs School.
