Community Works Builds Nonprofit Skills

Princeton Community Works will hold its annual educational conference for nonprofit board members, staff, and volunteers on Monday, January 25, from 5 to 9:15 p.m. at the Frist Campus Center at Princeton University. There are more than 20 workshops available at the conference, hosted by experts from a wide variety of nonprofit groups.

Among the speakers are Jack Fein and Lovepreet Buttar of the Mercadien Group, who will speak on financial due diligence; Marge Smith, founder and chair of Princeton Community Works, on emotional intelligence; Amy Klein of VolunteerConnect, on leveraging skills-based volunteers; and Krystal Knapp, founding editor of PlanetPrinceton.com and PlanetTrenton.org, on social media for nonprofits.
