Repair work on Alexander Road between Canal Pointe Boulevard and the D&R Canal in West Windsor is expected to begin on Wednesday, May 11.

Daily work on the S-curve is expected to continue between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., with partial lane closures occurring between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Total road closure from Glenview Drive to the canal is expected to begin on or about Wednesday, June 1, and last for approximately four weeks, to allow deep utility work and full road reconstruction. During this time traffic will be detoured to Route 1, then to Washington Road, then to Faculty Road. Delays are expected.

The entire project is expected to take 10 weeks. Questions concerning this project can be directed to the West Windsor Township Engineering Division at 609-799-9396.
