The Princeton Adult School celebrates its 75th anniversary with “Focus on the Arts,” a conversation and reception, Sunday, March 2, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Princeton University’s Friend Center.

The event features McCarter Theater artistic director Emily Mann, McCarter Theater director of special programs William Lockwood, Princeton University Art Museum director James Steward, Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang (a frequent McCarter collaborator), and composer, clarinetist, and past Institute for Advanced Study artist-in-residence Derek Bermel. Michael Cadden, chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton, will moderate the discussion about changes in the arts over the past 75 years and the challenges ahead. A reception follows.

The event is produced in honor of the Adult School’s 75th birthday. Tickets are $25, and all proceeds benefit the Princeton Adult School. Tickets, directions, and more information about the conversation and other 75th anniversary events can be found at www.princetonadultschool.org or by calling 609-683-1101.
