Call for Vendors

Slackwood Presbyterian Church seeks vendors for a community health and wellness event to be held on Saturday, October 8, from noon to 4 p.m. The vendor fee is $30, and tables and chair rentals are available for an additional fee. The Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society seeks vendors for its flea market scheduled for Saturday, September 17, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Benjamin Temple House, 27 Federal City Road, Ewing. Spaces cost $15. For more information call 609-883-2455.

Call for Singers

As it begins its 17th season, Bucks County-based male a cappella group Cordus Mundi is looking to add new singers to the group and is holding auditions for qualified tenors, baritones, and basses. Cordus Mundi candidates are expected to have good reading & learning skills, be willing/able to sing a wide variety of music and musical styles, and be interested in making a genuine contribution to the group’s development.

Cordus Mundi performs three major concerts and additional engagements throughout the concert season. The group rehearses on Monday evenings in Solebury, Pennsylvania, and rehearsals for the 2022-2023 season begin on Monay, September 12. A Cordus audition, to be held with the group’s artistic and music directors, includes vocalizing, sight-reading, and some limited group singing. Additionally, candidates are welcome, but not required, to bring and sing a piece of your choosing to the audition.

Audition

ActorsNET of Bucks County is holing auditions for its first production of its 26th season, “Playing with Fire (after Frankenstein),” by Barbara Field, with performances October 14 through 30, 2022.

Auditions will be held Wednesday, August 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, August 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No sign-ups are required. Rehearsals will start immediately after casting is complete.

Auditions and performances at The Heritage Center Theatre, 635 North Delmorr Avenue, Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

Roxey Ballet is holding auditions for its holiday production of “The Nutcracker” for students ages 4 an up on Saturday, September 10. The audition fee is $38 and participation fee is $295. Audition times are noon, ages 4 to 6; 12:45 p.m., ages 7 to 10; 1:30 p.m., ages 11 to 13; 2:15 p.m., ages 14 and up. In order to participate in Roxey Ballet’s Nutcracker Production you must be enrolled in, at least, one ballet class either at The Mill Ballet School or another studio. Mandatory rehearsals will be held Saturdays between 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. Performances are Fridays through Sundays, November 26 through December 4, at Villa Victoria Theater in Ewing.
