The teens at Princeton Learning Cooperative are on the lookout for interesting, dedicated people who are willing to share their knowledge and skills. Generally a one-hour-a-week commitment, PLC volunteers tutor one-on-one, lead small-group classes, or offer a one-time workshop in a wide range of topics. Speaking Classes for Kids

Children ages 7 to 17 can participate in Speakology, a public speaking training program, from Tuesday to Saturday, August 20 to 24, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classes start at $295 and are held at Tigerlabs, 252 Nassau Street, Princeton.

Artists are invited to submit jewelry made out of buttons for the New Jersey State Button Society competition, set for Saturday, September 14, at the Union Fire Company building, 3926 River Road, Titusville.
