Call for Art

A logo is needed for the ArtWalk juried exhibit and sale showcasing two dimensional art forms. Accepted artwork will be on display at the Franklin Day Festival September 22, 2018 in Colonial Park, 156 Mettlers Road, Somerset. The logo should be unique, colorful, attractive, and eye-catching.The Princeton Photography Club will award the selected logo design $50. Submission forms and guidelines can be found at www.franklintwp.seamlessdocs.com/f/ArtWalkLogo. Submission deadline is Friday, June 1.

Umpire

There is currently a shortage of field hockey umpires in the area. Umpiring field hockey pay starts at about $50 per hour. Most school games start before 4 p.m. and club tournaments are held on weekends. For more information, visit www.umpirehockey.org.

Volunteer

LifeTies, a nonprofit serving vulnerable youth, young adults, and their families, is holding three information sessions next month in Ewing: Wednesday, June 6 at 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday, June 12 at 12:30 p.m.; and Thursday, June 28 at 5:30 p.m. For information and to register, contact Donna Yates at dyates@lifeties.org or 609-414-2083.

Princetonians are invited to share their stories as part of Voices of Princeton, a community-based oral history project that aims to collect, share, and archive stories and memories. Stories are recorded in an interview format in which two people who know each other conduct a guided conversation, with one person serving primarily as the interviewee and the other as the interviewer.
